Huldufolk
Huldufolk are the hidden people. In Icelandic lore, they make their homes in the wild and live in a parallel world to humans. They can make themselves invisible at will, and are described as looking similar to humans, but smaller in size. The myth of the Huldufólk is still very present in modern day Iceland, and several building projects have been altered in order not to disturb them.
